UCL: Lookman boost for Atalanta ahead Club Brugge clash

Ademola Lookman is set to be part of Atalanta’s squad for their UEFA Champions League match against Club Brugge.

Lookman suffered a knee injury during training last month and has been out of action since.

The skilled winger has been absent for Atalanta’s last six matches in all competitions.

The 27-year-old participated in a portion of Sunday’s training session with the rest of the squad.

As reported by Gazetta dello Sport, Lookman is expected to be fit for the second leg of the playoff tie, which is scheduled for Tuesday at Gewiss Stadium.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s team was defeated 2-1 in the first leg last week.

Lookman has scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 24 appearances for Atalanta this season across all competitions.
