Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diadem, is a Nigerian beauty entrepreneur. She has used social media to tearfully refute rumours that she is romantically involved with Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State.
A blogger had stated that the politician was building a house for the single mother and that she was having an affair with him. As expected, the false information spread swiftly and generated various responses from online users.

Adeola vigorously denied the claim in a video she posted barely four hours after the news broke, claiming she had never met the governor in person.
She emphasized that she only minds her own business while raising doubts about the motivation behind the lies. She swore they would never find peace and blasted the blogger for spreading false information about her.
Adeola asked for a Bible in a fit of pleading and said, “Let all the curses in the Bible come upon me if the rumor is true.”
She went on to say that she was deeply offended by the accusation, pointing out that the government had never backed her brand and that suddenly, her critics wanted to blame the governor for her success.
She cried and said she had been running her company alone while raising her child. She also urged people to leave her alone.
