A Nigerian lady’s return to her family home after years abroad resulted in a poignant reunion with her family, leaving viewers online moved.

The emotional scenes were captured in a video that quickly went viral and elicited responses on social media.

@ moyosolabello shared the clip on TikTok, along with a comment that hinted at a decade-long estrangement.

It depicted her parents and siblings overtaken with emotion as they welcomed her home, their delight overpowering but tinged with sorrow.

Her mother collapsed to the floor and rolled around the living room, unable to control her emotions.

The father, who was also tearful, hugged his daughter and emphasized how much he missed having her around.

Other family members were as emotional, expressing their joy via weeping and close embraces.
