The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has expressed President Bola Tinubu’s satisfaction with the party primaries conducted across the country.

Yilwatda made this known on Wednesday night while speaking with reporters after a meeting with the president in Lagos.

He said the party’s recent internal processes reflect its competitive nature, with many aspirants contesting for a limited number of positions across Nigeria.

According to him, the growing interest demonstrates the APC’s wide acceptance and penetration within Nigerian communities.

He added that many aspiring leaders now see the party as their preferred political platform, while expressing appreciation to Nigerian citizens and party supporters.

The APC National Chairman noted that the exercises were conducted with discipline, resulting in minimal complaints and what he described as near-perfect execution.

ZINGTIE reports that the APC has commenced its primary elections for various elective positions ahead of next year’s general elections.

“The President was very impressed with the logistics we deployed across the country, the tactics we’ve used.

“He has also been very impressed with the reduced number of incidents that we have across the country. He’s happy with what we’re doing,” he said.
