‘Wike defeated you’ – Lere Olayinka mocks Amaechi over comment on removing Tinubu

Former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi has come under fire from Lere Olayinka, the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media under Nyesom Wike, for claiming to know how to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Amaechi had claimed that he knew Tinubu’s weaknesses and could defeat him in 2027.

This was revealed by the former minister during a public debate on an X Space.

But after losing to Wike repeatedly, Olayinka questioned how Amaechi could overcome Tinubu.

Olayinka called Amaechi a jester in a post on X.

He wrote: “Hungry man Amaechi was a sitting governor in 2015, when Wike defeated him.

“Hungry man Amaechi was a minister in 2019, when Wike defeated him.

“Hungry man Amaechi just left office as a minister in 2023, when Wike defeated him.

“The same hungry man Amaechi is boasting that he knows how to defeat Tinubu, a sitting president.

“I know Tinubu’s weaknesses, will defeat him if ADC gives me ticket – Amaechi.

“Me: Just the way he defeated Tinubu in the APC primary of 2022 nah. Alawada.com.”
