A total of 13 countries have now secured qualification for the Round of 16 at the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Switzerland became the latest team to progress after defeating Algeria in their Round of 32 clash on Tuesday.
Goals from Dan Ndoye and Breel Embolo sealed a comfortable 2-0 victory for the Swiss side over the North African nation.
With the result, Switzerland advances to the Round of 16, where they will face either Colombia or Ghana in the next phase of the competition.
The other teams that have already booked their places in the last 16 are Belgium, France, Brazil, Norway, Morocco, Paraguay, Canada, Mexico, England, Portugal, Spain and the United States.
