Nigerian representatives in this season’s CAF interclub competitions will kick off their continental campaigns in September, as reported.
Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Rangers and Rivers United will represent the country in the CAF Champions League.
Shooting Stars, alongside the eventual winners of the President Federation Cup, will fly Nigeria’s flag in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The remaining Confederation Cup ticket will be decided when Nasarawa United and Ikorodu City face off in the President Federation Cup final at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Saturday, July 11.
The preliminary round of both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup is scheduled to take place between September 4 and 6, with the return fixtures fixed for September 11 to 13, 2026.
The second preliminary round will be played from October 16 to 18, while the return legs are slated for October 23 to 25, 2026.
The group stage of both continental competitions is expected to commence towards the end of November.
