Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been informed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) no longer recognizes him as a member.

The former governor of Rivers State needs to be placed in his proper position, according to the Conference of Professionals in the Peoples Democratic Party, CP-PDP.

When the Minister has his typical outburst, like he did at his media interaction on Monday, the group urges Nigerians to ignore and disrespect him.

According to ZINGTIE, the FCT Minister pretended to dictate and impose restrictions on the internal operations of the main opposition party during his media appearance on Monday.

However, the organization maintained that because Wike openly supported the ruling party and President Bola Tinubu, he is no longer eligible to be referred to be a PDP member.

The PDP Professionals said in a statement issued by Obinna Nwachukeu, the group’s chairman, that it will not become involved in the dispute with Wike, whom it characterized as an appointee and supporter of the failed Tinubu administration.

“The FCT Minister must realise that the PDP as a party has gone beyond being controlled, influenced or bullied by diatribes,’’ the statement said.

Wike was informed by the group that the South South and South East leadership structures of the main opposition party have since been determined.

“The two chapters have been functioning effectively.

‘’Wike’s reference to court orders on the issue of the leadership of the South South and South East chapters of the party is therefore of no moment and should be disregarded,” it said.
