According to Solomon Dalung, a former minister of youth and sports, the cabals surrounding President Bola Tinubu are more aspirational than those surrounding former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking on Tuesday, January 7, on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Dalung, a former member of Buhari’s administration, offered his perspectives on the power structures he witnessed while in office. He compared Buhari’s predicament to that of a “stranger” in his own administration.

Dalung made comparisons between the two governments, claiming that the cabals surrounding Tinubu were significantly more intellectual and ambitious than those surrounding Buhari, who were less educated and exclusively focused on narrow interests.

He cautioned that given the cabal’s experience and goals, Tinubu might have more difficulties than Buhari.
