Lagos-based celebrity car dealer, IVD, has officially proposed to Blessing CEO, a controversial figure known for calling herself a relationship expert.
A video making the rounds online shows IVD down on one knee, proposing to Blessing CEO.
In the clip, she responded, “Yes, Yes, Yes I will marry you Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna.”
The proposal comes less than three years after the tragic passing of IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, who died from injuries sustained in a fire outbreak at their residence, which followed a reported case of domestic violence.
Following her death, Bimbo’s family publicly accused IVD of years of abuse.
In IVD’s defense, Blessing CEO—who had claimed to be working as his relationship therapist—alleged that Bimbo had been abusive and had died by suicide.
In March 2023, Blessing CEO was remanded by a Federal High Court in Lagos due to her involvement in the legal proceedings tied to the death of Bimbo Ogbonna.

The circumstances surrounding Bimbo’s passing, along with Blessing CEO’s support for IVD, ignited backlash across social media, with many users criticizing both individuals.
