Sutter Health in Sacramento, California, has received an anonymous $110 million gift to support its expansion and patient care initiatives across northern California. This historic donation will fuel Sutter Health’s strategic growth and innovation efforts.

The gift will enable Sutter Health to collaborate with the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group to create a comprehensive regional healthcare system. This system will offer a wide range of ambulatory services, including primary and specialty care, mental health care, imaging, lab services, and ambulatory surgery.

Sutter Health’s president and CEO, Warner Thomas, expressed gratitude for the generosity. “Extraordinary generosity like this allows us to create a lasting, positive impact in the lives of our patients and change and save lives,” he said. “It ensures everyone who walks through our doors receives the best care possible.”
