The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State has disassociated itself from any alliance or coalition with individuals or other political parties.
Speaking with journalists in Awka on Saturday, the state party chairman, Chidi Chidebe, clarified that the PDP in Anambra is not part of any such arrangement.
Chidebe emphasized that the party remains cohesive, autonomous, and aligned with the directives from its national leadership.
He explained that the state chapter had no role in any coalition discussions, describing any such engagements as strictly personal initiatives.
According to him, the PDP in Anambra already holds a clear stance regarding the idea of forming coalitions.
“Let me reiterate it here that we are not in any coalition. This is the position of the national leadership of our party and we are standing by it very strictly,” Chidebe said.
