Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has received a Silver Certification in the United Kingdom for his album Timeless.
The project shattered several streaming records across major platforms such as Spotify Nigeria, Boomplay, Audiomack, and YouTube.
According to Chart Data, a reputable source for music certifications and analytics, the recognition came after the album surpassed 100,000 units sold in the UK.
In addition to its commercial success, Timeless earned Davido a nomination for ‘Song of the Year’ at the Headies, along with two Grammy nominations — one for ‘Best Global Album’ and another for ‘Best Global Music Performance.’
Following the album’s release in March 2023, Davido launched a global “Timeless Tour” to promote the project internationally.
