President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to make an official state visit to Japan, according to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who represents Abia North.
In a video tape that he shared on his Facebook page, the former governor of Abia State revealed the president’s alleged poor health.
The president’s noticeable absence from important public engagements has led to rumors that he was ill and in grave health, according to ZINGTIE.
However, the presidency rejected the allegation, claiming Tinubu is working from home and in good health.
Senator Kalu encouraged Nigerians, particularly politicians, to quit spreading rumors about the president’s health and instead concentrate on the accomplishments of the Tinubu-led administration in the video.
He said, “Nigerian people and politicians should stop this rumour and focus on what we are doing. We have done so many things and we will continue to be on track”.
Asked if he is confirming that the president is currently in good health, the lawmaker said, “even if he is not in good health, somebody can be sick and he will get better to do his travels”.
“The president is going to Japan for a state visit and he will stop over in Brazil and come back to Nigeria to go to the United Nations in September so the president is in good shape, let’s stop all this nonsense”, the lawmaker added.
