Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage has shared insights into her private life, revealing her aspirations to grow her family.
In a recent conversation with American podcaster Joe Budden, the celebrated singer revealed that she has stopped freezing her eggs and is now seriously contemplating having more children.
The ‘Somebody’s Son’ hitmaker, already a mother, expressed a strong longing for sons and mentioned that she had previously opted for egg freezing to increase her chances.
“I want more children, boys. I have actually done egg freezing. I am just preparing. Like I said, I am not young. I am thinking about my age and want to get my eggs while they are still very healthy,” she said.
Tiwa’s musical journey began as a backup singer for internationally renowned artists like George Michael and Mary J. Blige, before she moved back to Nigeria to pursue a solo career.
She gained widespread recognition in the early 2010s with breakout songs such as Kele Kele Love and Eminado, establishing herself as a powerhouse and a trailblazer among female Afrobeats artists.
In addition to her musical success, Tiwa has consistently spoken openly about her personal experiences, including life as a single mother.
