It is already confirmed which six teams will compete in the intercontinental World Cup playoffs in 2026.

Bolivia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Jamaica, New Caledonia, and Suriname are among them.

They will all participate in a mini-tournament that will take place in Mexico in March 2026.

Forty-two nations have automatically qualified for the event the following year by the conclusion of Tuesday night.

The UEFA and inter-confederation playoffs in March will fill the final six berths.

FIFA headquarters will host the European play-off draw on Thursday, November 20.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Denmark, Italy, Kosovo, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Wales were confirmed as the runners-up in the European Qualifiers group during the play-offs.

Romania, Sweden, Northern Ireland, and North Macedonia were confirmed for the Nations League play-offs.
