A Nigerian lawyer has warned Nigerians against transmitting private WhatsApp messages to others.

In a viral video, the lawyer stated that a person was sentenced to jail in a court session he attended after being convicted of passing private Whatsapp messages to others without the permission of the person with whom he had the conversation.
