The Grammy organizers have come under fire from American rap icon Jay-Z for his wife Beyoncé’s “Album of the Year” losses.

The head of Roc Nation received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award during the 2024 Grammy Awards, which took place in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena.

Jay-Z questioned the Recording Academy’s sense of judgment in his victory speech. He pointed out that although Beyoncé has won 32 Grammy awards overall, she has never taken home the Album of the Year trophy.

He said, “I don’t wanna embarrass this young lady [Beyoncé], but she has more Grammys than anyone and never won Album of the Year. So, even by your own [Grammy organizers] metrics, that doesn’t work. Think about that: most Grammys never won Album of the Year, and that doesn’t work. (sic)

“Some of you are going to go home tonight and feel like you have been robbed.”

According to ZINGTIE, Taylor Swift’s album “Midnights” took home the 2024 Grammy for Album of the Year.

Best New Artist of the Year went to Victoria Monét, who beat off Ice Spice, Fred Again, Coco Jones, Jelly Roll, and other artists.

Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers” took home the Record of the Year trophy, while Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?” took home the golden gramophone for Song of the Year.
