“A bike man took me to the best hotel at 1am” – Woman

At a late-night halt in Delta State, a female tourist had a terrifying event. She arrived in Ughelli at around 1 a.m. after being delayed by severe flooding on her way from Port Harcourt to Benin for her examinations. She asked a local bike rider for help finding a safe accommodation. She emphasized the need of having a safe spot to stay because she was worried about the dangers of traveling farther at that hour.

The rider led her to one of the greatest hotels in the area, according to him. At first glance, the facility seemed safe because it was tidy and well-run. She made arrangements for a cab pickup at 5 a.m. and checked in with the intention of leaving early the next day.

But her feeling of safety was short-lived. As she was getting ready to go, a hotel employee appeared in her room out of the blue. He shockingly admitted that he and other employees targeted ladies who were staying alone, killed them, and sold their body parts to affluent customers.

The passenger described the terrifying experience as follows: “I met a bike man at Ughelli roundabout at about 1:00 a.m. I told him I needed a place to rest for the night and that I’d be leaving the next morning. He said it was too late to get a taxi but suggested checking the park for someone willing to take the risk. Eventually, he took me to a hotel. I requested a clean, quality hotel, and he assured me this was one of the best.”

The startling discovery highlights the risks that might arise in places that appear to be secure. Travelers are starkly reminded by this experience to be extremely cautious when remaining alone at night, especially in unknown places. It also emphasizes how urgently authorities must keep an eye on hotels and guarantee the security of lone female visitors.
