In their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations match in Cote d’Ivoire, Nigeria’s Super Eagles could not beat Equatorial Guinea on Sunday.

The Olympic Stadium witnessed a 1-1 draw in the match.

In the 36th minute, Ivan Salvador gave Equatorial Guinea the lead.

But Victor Osimhen’s excellent header brought the score back to even two minutes later.

With one point apiece, neither team could score in the second half.

On Thursday, Nigeria will play the host country.
