Ballon d’Or 2026: Guti Reveals The Three Names On His List

Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti has identified England captain Harry Kane, France international Kylian Mbappe and Spain midfielder Rodri as his three leading contenders for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

The former Spanish midfielder also revealed that he would particularly like Mbappe to claim the prestigious individual award because of his connection with Real Madrid.

He said, as quoted by El Partidazo de COPE: “It’s going to be between Harry Kane, Mbappe and Rodri.

“I want Mbappe to win the Ballon d’Or because he plays for Real Madrid.”

The winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or is expected to be announced next month during a ceremony at the London Palladium Theatre in London.

A total of 30 players, including Kane, Mbappe and Rodri, have already been included on the shortlist for the prestigious award.
