“Being a Celebrity Is Expensive” — Davido Reveals His Monthly Expenses

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has disclosed that maintaining his celebrity lifestyle comes at a huge cost, revealing that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000—roughly N300 million to N400 million—every month.

Speaking during a recent livestream with content creator Davrel, the award-winning singer explained that the estimated monthly expenditure covers only his personal commitments and does not include the expenses of his wife, Chioma Adeleke, or other members of his household.

“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household.

“It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery,” he said.
