Blaqbonez Wanted To Team Up With Young Jonn, But This Happened

Producer-turned-singer Young Jonn has declined a collaboration proposal from rapper Blaqbonez after an old social media post resurfaced.

The disagreement began after Blaqbonez reacted to a recent post by Young Jonn in which the singer expressed his desire to have a group of five close friends moving together.

Young Jonn wrote, “I need like 5 bad friends way we go dey move in bulk!”

Responding to the post, Blaqbonez expressed his willingness to join the group and suggested that they work together musically.

Blaqbonez reacted, “Oya, make we dey together, sing as one.”

However, Young Jonn responded by bringing up an old 2015 tweet in which Blaqbonez had compared him with fellow producer DJ Coublon.

In the resurfaced post, Blaqbonez had stated that he preferred DJ Coublon to Young Jonn.

Young Jonn shared a screenshot of the old tweet and directed Blaqbonez to collaborate with Coublon instead.

Young Jonn replied, “Go sing as one with Coublon.”

Blaqbonez subsequently denied responsibility for the old post, explaining that it had been made by his social media handler in 2015.
