BREAKING: Gov Yusuf sacks SSG, Chief of Staff, moves Deputy to another ministry

In a historic cabinet reorganisation, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf fired Chief of Staff Shehu Sagagi and Secretary to the Government Abdullahi Bichi while reassigning his Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam.

Sunusi Bature Dawkin Tofa, the governor spokesperson, gave away the signals by stating that SSG Bichi was fired due to health concerns and that the Chief of Staff position was abolished entirely.
