BREAKING: Tinubu, Shettima, Akpabio, others in attendance as APC holds crucial NEC meeting

for the State House in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is currently present for the 14th National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Members of the party’s NEC, including governors, past governors, and National Assembly leaders, are present at the meeting, which started at around 2:10 pm.

The NEC also includes a few other foundation and ranking members of the party.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu are among those attending the ongoing meeting in addition to Tinubu.

A number of other governors are also there, including Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State and the chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the governor of Kwara State and the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), and others.

Also in attendance are Ali Bukar Dalori, the acting National Chairman, and former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

According to ZINGTIE, a decision regarding the party’s National Chairmanship is anticipated at the pivotal meeting.

After Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje resigned in June, Dalori, the APC National Vice Chairman, North, is currently serving in an acting capacity.
