Edo Guber Poll: Tribunal admits more documents from PDP, Ighodalo

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, submitted more documents to the Edo State Governorship Petition Tribunal in Benin City on Saturday.

According to ZINGTIE, the PDP and its candidate, Ighodalo, are contesting the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) announcement that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Monday Okpebholo, had won the poll.

On Friday, January 17, 2025, 1004 documents from Ighodalo and the PDP were tentatively admitted as exhibits by the tribunal.

The petitioners presented additional documentary evidence to bolster their claims during the hearing’s weekend extension.
