EPL: Carragher names team he prefers to win title after Arsenal draw 2-2 with Wolves

Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool defender, would rather Arsenal win this season’s Premier League title than Manchester City.

During CBS Sports’ match analysis, Carragher expressed that he is “glad” Mikel Arteta’s team dropped points on Wednesday night after a 2-2 draw with Wolves.

Tom Edozie’s late attempt, which entered the goal off Riccardo Calafiori, allowed the relegation fighters to level the score at 2-2 with the Gunners.

Arsenal have now played one additional match compared to City, yet they currently lead the table by five points.

“I’d rather Arsenal win it because I think it’s good for the league to have different winners,” Carragher said.

“It would mean we’ve had three different winners in the last three years, which I think is a good thing.”
