Abdullahi Adamu, the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared his retirement from partisan politics.

Adamu claimed that the reason he needs to resign is because he is becoming allergic to political activity.

Speaking on Saturday, he was part of the book launch for Abdullahi Tanimu’s book, ‘Progressive Governance, Showcasing The Achievements of His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State 2019 – 2023’.

Additionally, Abdullahi asked Nasarawa State residents to back Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Adamu claimed that Sule had built upon and refined the accomplishments of his predecessors.

According to Adamu: “I am not only a retiree but I am out of politics. I’m beginning to develop little allergies for political activities now and political speeches.

“So, forgive me, I will not make any political statement beyond asking for more support for the governor of the state.

“He needs all your prayers and goodwill to be able to succeed.”
