Popular Nigerian influencer VeryDarkMan and singer Seun Kuti have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The development, which comes amid VeryDarkMan’s ongoing legal dispute with Blord, has fueled speculation of a possible rift between the two on social media.

Although the exact reason behind the fallout remains unclear, Seun Kuti, in a viral post shared on his Instagram story on Wednesday, appeared to mock VeryDarkMan’s fanbase, popularly referred to as ‘Ratel’.

The singer wrote “You are rats, not ratels. Why una dey disguise?”

This comes just weeks after VeryDarkMan publicly supported Seun during his dispute with Wizkid over alleged disrespect toward his father, Fela Kuti’s legacy.

ZINGTIE reports that VeryDarkMan, regarded as a close associate of Seun Kuti, recently visited Fela Kuti’s grave where he performed a ritual involving a ram.
