Although it is widely known that Russia is among the coldest nations on Earth, Oymyakon is the world’s coldest place overall.
Everything will freeze and shatter into pieces in Oymyakon’s extreme cold, including food, glasses, toilet pipes, eyelashes, and car engines. Records say that this group can occasionally get as cold as a fridge.
We can all agree that the wet season makes things a little more challenging, therefore I can’t help but wonder what the residents of this village are going through.
Extreme weather frequently forces villagers to stay inside for days at a time, and they frequently rely on fireplace to stay warm. In addition, the animals in the village require a fireplace to prevent frostbite deaths.
