Group donates to orphanage home in Delta

The Grand Lodge of Nigeria has donated food items, cash, and other materials to God on Earth orphanage homes in Asaba, Delta State capital. The donation is part of the organization’s charity focus, which is one of its cardinal principles.

According to Chief Eric Okotie, Grand Master of the Lodge, “Our basic principles are three pillars: brotherly love, relief, and truth. We don’t tell lies; we are very truthful people.” Okotie emphasised that the organisation’s goal is to make men better men, Christians better Christians, and Muslims better Muslims, as they believe in God.

The Grand Master expressed his love for charity, stating, “I love charity, which is one of our cardinal principles, and I have promised myself that in the next five years, anytime we meet, we will visit one charity home.” He noted that the donation is part of their effort to cultivate a culture of love for a better society.

Okotie called on Nigerians to always prioritise charity and kindness, saying, “We need to carry out charity projects to help those in need.” Faith Raji, representative of the orphanage homes, thanked the group for the gesture, saying it will go a long way in reducing the burden on the orphanage.

The children of the orphanage homes offered prayers, asking that God touch Nigerians’ hearts to remember them always. The Grand Lodge of Nigeria’s donation is a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact in their community
