Gunmen abduct Kano resident from home

A man from Zawachiki Quarters in Kano State’s Kumbotso Local Government Area has been abducted by gunmen.

When the attackers broke into the neighborhood on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., the victim, Aminu Abdullahi, was taken away.

According to Zagazola Makama, the police claim to have received the report at approximately 7:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Later, a patrol unit lead by Kumbotso’s Divisional Police Officer visited the area.

To aid in their investigation, the police have reportedly also obtained a statement from the victim’s son, who was there when the kidnapping occurred.
