‘I don’t consider music a job, its my lifesty’ – Burna Boy

Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy revealed that he does not view music as a traditional job.

The creator of the hit song ‘Odogwu’ described his passion for music as a way of life instead of just a career.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1 Xtra, Burna Boy shared that he sees no need to take a break or vacation because music is an integral part of his everyday lifestyle rather than merely a profession.

He said, “I love my job. I don’t consider my job a job. I consider it life. Why do I need a vacation from life?

“It’s not like I am a bricklayer or labourer. That’s what you need vacation from. Not when you’re Burna Boy. My job is literally a lifestyle. It’s what I would wish to do if I wasn’t doing it. So, why would I want a vacation from that? Unless I’m old or have a kid. I don’t even have a kid. There’s nothing I’m vacationing for.”
