Ogun State resident Iyanuoluwa Adedeji, who was arrested due to her husband’s passing, has given her account.

with an interview with Punch, Adedeji revealed that one evening, her husband assaulted her, strangling her with one hand while brandishing a knife with the other.

He unintentionally injured himself on the chest with the knife as she attempted to defend herself, she said. She clarified that she hurried him to the hospital because he began to lose blood rapidly and got weak.

She claimed that when she got to the hospital, she was only dressed in her panties.

Adedeji claims that after discovering her spouse was a cultist, the medical team abruptly stopped treating him.

Afterward, they requested that she transport him to the Federal Medical Center. According to her, the doctor told her that her husband had died when they got to the second hospital.

In Adedeji’s words: “I only had my pant on when we arrived at the hospital. They attended to him at first but stopped when they learnt he was a cultist”
