The definition of President Bola Tinubu’s presidency by the Igbo people was revealed on Tuesday by Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.
Ejimakor revealed that Tinubu’s handling of Kanu’s issue will determine how the Igbos view him.
In a post on X, he advised the President not to let petty individuals push him toward a problematic political confrontation with the Igbo people.
In his letter, he stated: “For Ndigbo, Tinubu’s presidency will be defined by how he handles the matter of MAZI NNAMDI KANU. Anybody telling Tinubu otherwise is mischievous & nudging the President to a path of bitter political conflict with Ndigbo. Believe it or not, #MNK is one of the pantheons of Ndigbo.”
Following his dragging of the Nigerian government before the British House of Lords for Kanu’s ongoing confinement, he made this comment.
Ejimakor pleaded with the British House of Lords to step in and stop the Nigerian government from torturing, releasing, and imprisoning Kanu.
He urged the British parliament to criticize the Nigerian government if it does not release Kanu unconditionally and repatriate him to the United Kingdom in a petition to the House of Lords’ International Relations and Defence Committee.
