Jessica, a Nigerian-German nurse living in the US, has voiced concerns that her fairness may prevent her from being accepted in Africa.

“Hello!! I’m really interested in moving to Africa. I’m Nigerian and German. I’m scared I won’t be accepted because I’m so light. What are your thoughts on this? And what area would I fit. I’m a nurse here in the USA,” she wrote in a Facebook post.

Many individuals responded differently to the post, asking her if she thought there were no light people in Africa.
