With a death toll from the city’s fires approaching double figures, the rapidly spreading fire that forced widespread evacuations in Calabasas and Hidden Hills is being investigated as arson, and one suspect has been taken arrested.

With 900 weary first responders being diverted from other high priority infernos in southern California to protect homes and attempt to contain the raging flames, the Kenneth Fire is rapidly destroying the West Hills.

Palisades, Kenneth, and Eaton are the three fierce fires that are raging uncontrollably throughout the City of Angels.

At least 10,000 buildings have been destroyed, and ten people have been killed out of a lengthy list of injured. A-listers like Paris Hilton, Denise Crosby, and Milo Ventimiglia are among the celebrities whose homes have been reduced to ash.

LAPD senior lead officer Charles Dinsel has told NewsNation that a person is in custody, who is suspected to have purposefully triggered the out-of-control Kenneth Fire.

‘About 20 to 30 minutes later a suspect was detained over in Woodland Hills area by citizens. It is being investigated as a crime,’ Dinsel stated.

When asked directly if he thought the fire was started on purpose, the officer responded, “At this time, that’s what we believe.” Yes.’

According to DailyMail, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a resident reported a male attempting to start a fire near the 21700 block of Ybarra Road to 911.

After being detained, the suspect was brought to Topanga station. “We cannot confirm any connection to any fire at this time,” warned LAPD Drake Madison.

According to the NY Post, the suspect is a homeless man in his 30s.

After locals made a citizen’s arrest, photos document the moment he was hauled into custody by police.

Five police officers surround the individual in the pictures, who is dressed in a black t-shirt and has his hands clasped behind his back. He has stubble and short, dark hair.
