Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has revealed the three footballers he considers to be the best players in the world.
The Portuguese tactician made the revelation following Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Espanyol in their LaLiga opener on Saturday.
Speaking during his post-match interview at the RCDE Stadium, Mourinho singled out Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham as the three best players in world football.
According to the Real Madrid boss, the trio made a significant impact during the 2026 FIFA World Cup while representing their respective national teams.
Mourinho’s selection comes after his side began their LaLiga campaign with a hard-fought victory away from home.
“When we talk about the best players in the world, Madrid has many in this group,” Mourinho said.
“Obviously, those three [Mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham] you mentioned are incredible players who have recently had an impactful World Cup.
“Mbappe is the top scorer in World Cup history, but Vini Jr. had a great World Cup, and Bellingham did too,” he added.
