Married man invites twin brother to beat his wife for allegedly doing this in church

Dancun Owago and his twin brother, George Owago, are accused of abusing Dancun’s wife, Samantha Owino, after she went to a church vigil that lasted all night.

Their home was the scene of the incident on December 1, 2024, which sparked a court case that has drawn public interest.

Samantha had told her husband about the vigil, which was held to greet guests and mark the beginning of a new month. According to reports, Dancun approved of her ambitions. But when she got home the following morning, George confronted her and asked why she hadn’t been there.

Samantha said that both of her brothers had attacked her, even though she had justified her tardiness by citing church-related obligations.

Since then, the twins have apologised for what they did. The hearing is scheduled for August 2, 2025, and the court granted them each Ksh10,000 bail.
