Married man kills himself inside the compound of his wife lover, after several complaints

According to reports, Reginald, a man from Lawa in Ogbaku, Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State, killed himself on Sunday, apparently because he believed his wife was unfaithful.

Residents said that when they awoke, they saw Reginald’s lifeless body dangling from a tree on the grounds of Ukachukwu, a man who was allegedly dating with his wife.

Leadership claimed that the act has caused considerable outrage and condemnation across the community.

According to community sources, Reginald had frequently voiced his displeasure over the supposed liaison between his wife and Ukachukwu. However, it was said that his wife disregarded his worries.

Reporters were informed by a local who asked to remain anonymous that Reginald’s grievances had been a source of worry for a while. The peasant described how nobody had predicted such a terrible conclusion. He noted that the community was in shock, as it had never experienced anything of this nature before.

The Imo State Police Command’s spokesperson, DSP Henry Okoye, reportedly had his phone line turned off at the time of the inquiry, so attempts to get an official response from the command were unsuccessful.
