Married woman calls out husband for domestic abuse weeks after celebrating 7th anniversary

Evelyn Isaac, a married woman from Nigeria, has accused Isaac Mefo of domestic abuse.

On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the mother of two from Uyo claimed in a Facebook post that she had been violently abused by her husband.

“God will punish you Isaac Mefo for beating me this afternoon. Have tolerated enough,” she wrote.

She continued to express her mental distress and prayed to God for courage and help.

“God, I need all the strength n love I could get at this point n I know U will do it for me,”she added.

Many people are shocked by the announcement because the pair only two months ago, in December 2024, celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. Evelyn had prayed for more love and happiness in their home in a poignant anniversary letter at the time.

“Congratulations n happy wedding anniversary to me n mine. Wishing us more love n sweetness in our home. Happy 7years wedding anniversary to us my darling husband. It can only be God,” she wrote.

Evelyn’s most recent accusations have generated a lot of social media discussion, with many people voicing worries about her welfare and demanding that domestic abuse laws be enforced.
