Temitope Omosowon, a Yoruba Nollywood actor and producer, has disclosed a startling event in which his wife beat him in public after surreptitiously listening in on a conversation he was having with another lady.

Omosowon described the circumstances leading up to the public altercation, which took place soon after he picked up his wife from the Abuja airport, in an interview posted on Biola Adebayo’s YouTube channel.

He recommended that they have some suya at the neighborhood eatery Faaji FM before returning home. He spoke with a woman who came up to him and complimented him on his work as he was getting out of the car for a moment to charge his AirPods.

He was unaware that his wife had already put in his second AirPod earpiece and was listening in on the swindle.
His wife was furious when she heard the conversation.

She slapped Omosowon in front of spectators as soon as she got out of the car, and when she took off his jewelry, the altercation got even more heated.

In his words: “ After I picked my wife from the airport, I told her to let us get suya. While I dropped from the car, I was charging my AirPods and I had one piece with me while the other ear bud was in the car. I was greeting a lady who said she is a fan of mine and loved my movies. Unknown to me, my wife had already put the second piece in her ear and was listening to all the conversation. Immediately she heard the word love, she stepped out of the vehicle, slapped me in public, and cut my necklace during the fight. But, I managed to control her and g et her out of the scene.”
