Nigerian woman narrates how her son drowned in soakaway

Blessing Jacob, a Nigerian, has been grieving for her son, AbdulHafiz Onimisi Abubakar, who drowned in a soakaway.

On Wednesday, December 18, 2024, she described how the kid slipped into the deep pit while playing around the compound.

The mother stated that her husband had hurried inside and retrieved AbdulHafiz, but it was too late.

They hurried the boy to two hospitals, where the attending physicians pronounced him dead.
