Obidient Movement appoints interim state coordinating council for Kaduna

The Obidient Movement for Kaduna State has established a 13-member temporary State Coordinating Council (SCC).

The appointments are part of a strategic initiative to improve grassroots mobilization and governance advocacy in the area, as verified in an official letter signed by National Coordinator Dr. Tanko Yunusa.

“The Obidient Movement reiterated its commitment to service, inclusion, and people-first leadership, urging appointees to confirm their roles via the NCC’s official link.

“This council embodies our resolve to build a New Nigeria from the ground up,” Yunusa said.

He clarified that the SCC would lead efforts to organize advocacy campaigns, promote cooperation with civil society and religious organizations, and enhance political education.

The national coordinator added, “The Obidient Movement continues to consolidate its presence nationwide, with Kaduna’s SCC expected to play a pivotal role in shaping its 2027 political strategy. The state’s socio-political significance in Northern Nigeria makes this appointment critical for broader national influence.”

The State Coordinator, Elder Yusuf Solomon Danbaki, the Secretary, Lawal Umar, and Barr are the interim members of the Kaduna State SCC. Legal Advisor Kate Issue, Grassroots Activist Muhammad Liman, Members Mal. Ilyasu Muhammad and Jemimah Ebiega.

Other members include Mal and Natty Auta. Members Mal, Comr. Daniel Ejembi, Tinok Andrew, and Jabir Ibrahim Yaro. Saratu Larai Shekari, Danjuma Saleh, and Usman Aliyu are all members.
