Osun Decides: Security Operatives Make Major Arrest Over Alleged Voter Importation

More than 100 persons allegedly brought into Osun State ahead of the ongoing governorship election have reportedly been arrested.

The individuals, who were said to be carrying newly issued Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs, were allegedly gathered at the residence of a member of the Accord Party.

The group was reportedly staying at the residence of Hon. Abiola Ibrahim ahead of the election.

A video currently circulating on social media showed the alleged imported voters being questioned by security operatives.

During the interrogation, Ibrahim reportedly admitted that the large number of people were staying at his residence with the intention of voting for the Accord Party in the ongoing election.

Ibrahim is reportedly a member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing the Irewole-Isokan Constituency.

Meanwhile, efforts to obtain an immediate reaction from the Osun State Police Command were unsuccessful as of press time.
