Saudi doctor arrested for crashing car into Christmas market in Germany, killing 5

A car crashed into a busy Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, killing at least five people, including a toodler.

According to CNN, German officials reported that more than 200 people were hurt, with over 40 of them suffering critical injuries.

The report states that the suspected driver, who is thought to have acted alone, has been taken into custody.

He is a Saudi Arabian doctor who is fifty years of age.
