According to Cherre Kambatta, a South African woman, there is nothing wrong with husbands abusing their wives.

On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, she made this statement in response to a Nigerian woman’s Facebook post regarding an ongoing domestic abuse issue.

“A woman who didn’t receive home training from her papa should allow her husband to discipline her. My husband still disciplines me at this my age too. Men beating their wives is nothing bad,” she wrote.
