The Nigerian female sensation Tiwa Savage has candidly discussed her battles with low eyesight.

In a now-viral video posted to her Instagram account on Friday, Tiwa said that her vision problems had gotten worse recently to the point that she could hardly read text messages.

She revealed that over the previous two to three years, she had been squinting.

Following a recent trip to a London optician, the 44-year-old disclosed to the public that she is experiencing problems with her short-range vision. Mentioning that she has decided to wear prescription glasses.

“Guys, since the past 2-3 years, I have been noticing that I will be squinting and when I read it would be getting blurry.

“In the last few months, I noticed it got so bad that sometimes I will have to screen grab messages and then go back into my camera and zoom. So when I was in London, I visited an Optician.

“So my long sight is okay for now, he said, not great; but my short sight (shakes her head).”
