US election: Davido excited after voting for first time

After casting his first ballot in an American election, Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is beaming with happiness.

Atlanta-born Davido disclosed that he cast his first ballot in the current US elections.

Shortly after voting, the musician posted a photo of himself and said, “First time voter!!”

He had earlier shared a post on X encouraging Americans to vote in a peaceful manner.

“Election Day yall be safe as you perform your constitutional rights ❤️,” he wrote.

He did not, however, openly support any candidate.
