The North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s Secretary-General, Mark Rutte, has congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election.

A statement on Wednesday included this information.

In his congratulatory message, Rutte stated that Trump’s comeback will help maintain the alliance’s strength.

“His leadership will again be key to keeping our alliance strong.

“I look forward to working with him again to advance peace through strength through NATO,” he said.
